Enrolment Process
St John’s College is committed to an open enrolment policy that is consistent with our Philosophy and all applicable State and Commonwealth Laws, including anti-discrimination, equal opportunity, privacy and immunisation legislation. The school’s policy can be viewed here.
St John’s College enrols students in across all year levels from Foundation to Year 12, when there is an available vacancy and at the discretion of the Principal.
At St John’s College, the process to apply for enrolment is straightforward. To ensure the minimum requirements are met and the process is equitable of enrolling a student at our school, the following process will be followed for all new applications. An application to enrol at St John’s College must be made using the school’s official online Enrolment Application Form.
APPLICATION
All prospective parents must complete an application form and return it with a copy of their child(ren)’s birth certificate and application fee payment to the Enrolments office. A non-refundable Application fee must accompany each application (please refer to the Schedule of Fees). Please note a separate Enrolment Application is required for each child.
INTERVIEW
After this all required paperwork is received, parents will be invited to the School for an interview with the School Principal.
OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE
Based on the completed application, interview and reports, a Letter of Offer may be forwarded. Parents will then be asked to return a signed Enrolment Contract within a time limit and pay the Confirmation Fee (please refer to the Schedule of Fees). When this process is completed, a child has secured a place at St John’s College. An application is a prerequisite to admission but not a guarantee of admission.
