After last year’s success, STEM Week returned this August, bigger and better than ever! Excitement filled the air as students, teachers, and parents celebrated the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The week featured a variety of activities and challenges across all math, science, and digital technology classes, with junior and senior students collaborating on experiments in an inspiring environment.

Highlights included a captivating live Science Show, a visit from the Spiral Potato food truck, and a flight simulator for aspiring aviators. The chess tournament saw Adam Saleh win for the Senior School and Evangelos P for the Junior School. In the Mintie Wrapper competition, Eirini N and Evangelos P impressed, with lengths of 1.1m and 1.2m. Tyhia K amazed everyone by reciting pi to 122 digits, while Noel H recited 100. Sebastian M solved the Rubik’s cube in an impressive 58 seconds, while Dimitri T set a record with a time of 32 seconds. Olivia M won the ‘Take the Cake’ competition, and Lefteri L guessed the correct number of jelly beans in the jar.

STEM Week 2024 was a celebration of innovation, creativity, and the limitless possibilities of STEM. Thanks to our dedicated staff, we’re already excited for next year!
